• PAF Gallery presents the powerful oil paintings of local, up-and-coming artist, Zoe Matthewson.  Zoe has just graduated from the NC School of the Arts and is headed this fall to the Rhode Island School of Design.  This show will introduce you to this amazing, new artist through works honoring the memory of her father.  Reception from 6 until 9pm.

Courtyard Cafe serves a delightful assortment of beverages and snacks: coffee, espresso, latte, cappuccino, chai, hot chocolate, smoothies, frappe, Italian sodas, and much more.

Fresh bakery items are available too. Coffee beans are from Joe Van Gogh Roasters in Hillsborough, freshly roasted weekly. Also offering coffee beans by the pound, ordered weekly. If you have a favorite, Courtyard Coffee and Soda Cafe can special order. Good selection of hot teas and Biscottea Shortbread for dunking, Escazu Chocolate Bars, great chocolate made in Raleigh.

You can enjoy on warm days and music on the Courtyard stage every 3rd Friday of the month during the Artwalk (6-9 pm).

Outside in the Courtyard or inside the Coffee Shop are great places for meetings. We can also stay open later than our usual closing time if you need a nighttime place to have a special business meeting for any group function. Just give us a call!

Mitch Woodward from NC State Cooperative Extension has worked with  Andrew Wright to install a new rain garden, including a well-designed catchment and dispersal system, at Courtyard Cafe. The new system will help water the trees and shrubs that give color to the courtyard. Beautiful work!

For artists searching for a quality exhibition venue, for companies seeking a unique meeting environment, or for anyone looking to host a reception in a refreshingly different setting, there is an exciting new place to be: the PAF Gallery.

At the heart of a flourishing community of artist studios, galleries and eateries, the PAF Gallery, at the NC Arts Incubator, is centrally located at 223 N Chatham Avenue in the Historic Downtown District of Siler City, a short drive from the Triangle or Triad.

Terry McIntuff’s guitar workshop is based in Downtown Siler City. Terry has excelled in his craft for over 25 years, finding acclaim in leading guitar-related publications including Guitar Player, Guitarist, Guitar World, Premier Guitar, and others.

Notable owners of McInturff guitars include Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin), Brad Whitford (Aerosmith), Brad Delsen (Linkin Park), Marshall Crenshaw, David Hidalgo (Los Lobos), Chuck Garvey (.moe), Danny Flowers, Jeff Beck, and many others.

The Retail Gallery features the handcrafted work of over 30 Incubator and regional artists in a variety of mediums including painting, pottery, stained and fused glass, fabric art, cards, photography, wood, jewelry, metal, baskets and more. There is a broad range of items and prices. The Gallery is open 6 days a week and is staffed by volunteers.

The Retail Gallery first opened in 2004 featuring pottery and other art produced by Incubator artists. It was located in the renovated hardware store building that also houses the CCCC pottery program. Since that time, it has grown to include artists from Chatham County and the surrounding region.

Gallery hours: Monday – Thursday 9 am – 4 pm and Friday – Saturday 9 am – 5 pm (except 3rd Friday when the Gallery is open 9am – 9 pm). Come visit us soon!

The North Carolina Arts Incubator is located in several buildings nestled in the heart of Historic Downtown Siler City and currently features dozens of artists working in a variety of media from pottery to glass to fiber.

To get a taste of what we’re all about, join us on our 3rd Friday ArtWalk, every month from 6-9 pm.

We currently have studio space available in the underground studios.

3 larger ceramics studios with access to community wheels, extruder, slab roller and electric kilns.  Each studio rents for $100/month.  There is a warm, supportive community of artists in the underground.  Glass artists, jewelers, other media are welcomed as well!

Coming available in August!!!  138 N Chatham Avenue (CCCC building)

•  4 private studios available in former front staff offices.    $200/month each.
•  Another two (2) such studios will be ready before the holiday rush to produce.  Or perhaps you (or you and a friend or two) would like to rent this one big studio for $400/month before we re-separate them!
• Behind the dust door are two (2) private studios suitable for woodworking, ceramics and other artisans who may generate a bit of dust.  Rent on each is $400/month.

Studio sizes and amenity information to come.  This is a beautiful facility with heat and air conditioning, utility sinks, front gallery and even a loading dock!
